Mountain Trails Camping Area

The Chapel was created by the original owners of the campground as a special place in the woods, intended for quiet prayer and contemplation. The plaque on the tree reads: "The Chapel. A place where one can meditate and worship the creator of this beautiful earth. And, perhaps pray for greater understanding among people and nations. Built in fond memory of our fathers, Leon W. Mills / Halbert E. Whitney."
